John Wei joined Alchip Technologies in Jan. 2007 as the Senior Director of Design Technologies responsible for Alchip’s SoC Design Methodology, Design Infrastructure Development, and Complex IP Hardening. John had previously worked in LSI Logic, NeoMagic, PMC-Sierra, Marvell, and Tensilica. He completed his post-doctoral work in EECS Department at MIT, and received his PhD EE from Dartmouth, MS from Stanford, and BS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. John holds four US patents in IC Design and published numerous, refereed papers in IEEE.
